Reduce the look of stubborn fat bulges.

Some areas of fat may not respond to diet and exercise alone. CoolSculpting is designed to cool and damage targeted fat cells, which the body then clears gradually over the following weeks.

CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared to reduce visible fat bulges in the submental (under the chin) and submandibular (under the jawline) areas, thigh, abdomen, and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks, and the upper arm.

Treated fat cells are cleared by the body over time, and results vary. Some patients start to see changes about 3 weeks after treatment, with more noticeable changes typically appearing after 2 months.

Treatment typically takes 35-60 minutes.

CoolSculpting® is designed to reduce visible fat bulges in treated areas, which may help refine your body’s contours.

CoolSculpting Cycles

With CoolSculpting, one cycle = applying the applicator to the targeted area. For example, four cycles of CoolSculpting refers to four applications of the applicator during treatment. The number of applications/cycles needed for each area depends on the patient and their expectations.

Abdomen: generally between 2-4 applications depending on the size of the abdomen and the area of concern. May require 2-3 treatments, and results vary from patient to patient.
Banana roll, inner thigh, outer thigh, distal thigh: one application/cycle per each thigh (2 cycles/session) and may require 2-3 treatments
Bra fat: one application/cycle per back for each side (2 cycles/session); may require 2-3 treatments
Flanks: one application/cycle per back for each side (2 cycles/session); may require 2-3 treatments
Submental area: one application/cycle (usually does not need more than two applications and of course, it depends on how big the chin area is); 1-2 treatments generally
Upper arm: one application/cycle per back for each side (2 cycles/session); may require 2-3 treatments

What to Expect

A clear gel pad is used as a barrier between the cooling panel and your skin.
During the treatment, you may feel tugging, intense cold, tingling, or other symptoms at the treatment site. These sensations typically fade as the area becomes numb.
Feel free to answer messages on your phone or read during the treatment.
After the treatment, your provider gently massages the area to break up the targeted fat cells.

What Comes Next

There is little to no downtime for many patients, though redness, swelling, bruising, or numbness in the treated area can occur.
Some patients notice changes as early as 3 weeks after treatment.
The body may continue to clear treated fat cells for up to 4 to 6 months after treatment.
There is no required diet or exercise program, but a stable weight and healthy habits can help you keep any changes you see.
